Welcome to Seed Scroll ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Seed Scroll app or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Seed Scroll is a Christian Bible study and community platform built to help believers study Scripture, share notes, and grow in faith together. The Service is founded on the belief that Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) is Lord and Messiah, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Seed Scroll exists to glorify God and edify the body of Christ. All users are expected to engage with the community in a manner consistent with that purpose.
What "Biblical rejection or anti-biblical proselytizing" means. Content that denies or rejects any book of the Bible, denies that Jesus is the Messiah, or intentionally attempts to lead people away from the Bible.
Disagreement about interpretation, denomination, translation, or theological perspective alone does not violate this policy. Seed Scroll is a place where believers study together and will not always agree, and honest disagreement about what a passage means is part of that.
You can report a profile, study note, reading plan, or audio playlist from within the app. Reports are reviewed by Seed Scroll administrators. Submitting a report does not by itself cause any enforcement action. Nothing is hidden, blocked, removed, or suspended automatically, and the person reported is not told who reported them.
After review, we may take any of the following actions, depending on the severity of the violation and any previous violations:
We determine whether content violates these standards. We may also act on violations we find ourselves, without anyone having reported them.

You retain ownership of the profile information, study notes, reading plans, audio playlists, and other content you create ("User Content"). By posting User Content you grant Seed Scroll a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content and expressly disclaim liability for it.
When you create an account or use synced features, you authorize Seed Scroll to save and process the data needed to provide the Service. This may include your account details, profile information, study notes, reading plans, reading progress, preferences, playlists, reactions, and other content or activity you choose to create, save, publish, or share through the app or website.
We store this data so your account and saved content can sync across devices, appear on the website where applicable, support community features, and allow us to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Certain features require a paid subscription ("Seed Scroll Premium"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective payment terms.
Suspension or termination for violations. If your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms — including the Community Standards in Section 3 — any active subscription may be cancelled. You will not be entitled to a refund or credit for the unused portion of the subscription solely because of the suspension or termination, except where required by applicable law or granted by Apple, Google, or another payment provider under its applicable policies.
Nothing here prevents Apple, Google, or another payment provider from issuing a refund under its own policies. Refunds are requested from the store you subscribed through, not from us.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab → Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
Appealing an action. If you believe we removed your content or actioned your account in error, email contact@seedscroll.app and tell us what happened. Submitting an appeal does not pause or reverse an action while we review it. If we find the action was taken in error, we will restore your account or content.
All content provided by Seed Scroll — including the app design, logo, and Scripture reference data — is owned by or licensed to Seed Scroll and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seed Scroll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
